We had a wonderful day on tour! 33 Vivo
Singers began the day with a performance at The Sweet Life. They sang
beautifully - check out Dodi Li & Annie Laurie below. Once their
performance was over, the singers went out into the audience and
thanked the residence for attending their performance. Such sweet,
sincere children you all have! Miss Gretchen had accompanied her
daughter (who is a senior this year)
to K-State for scholarship auditions so Miss Christy stepped in to
direct. Thanks
Miss Christy!
Our bus was 20 minutes late (Lori was
just a little
panicked!) Miss Christy hopped into her car and drove around looking
for it. She found the confused driver, and guided him to our building.
We loaded up and arrived at Coco Key
in time for lunch. They had a nice area reserved for Allegro where we
ate and
stored our bags. Once the kids finished eating, they changed into their
suits and took off to enjoy the water park. Our super chaperones
patrolled the grounds, keeping an eye on the kids. We all learned to
recognize them with wet hair! Other than a cut toe and a skinned knee,
everything went smoothly and we arrived at Crowley's a little after
4:30.
Parents,
your kids were truly amazing today It was such a joy to spend the day
with them! I want to send out a huge 'thank you' to our wonderful
chaperones - Mr.
Krause, Mr. Ruffini, Mrs. Bacon, Ms. Robideaux, Ms Lincoln, Mrs. Groves,
and Miss Amy. Were you all as exhausted as I was? :)
Below are also a few pictures - some of mine didn't turn out so a few singers are missing unfortunately.
