Today was unreal. It was better but more tiring than I ever
expected. It got off to an interesting start when for the first few hours we
didn’t do ANYTHING. In Allegro we are always doing something but not this
morning. We had time to go back to our
rooms and chill (I actually had time to curl Dani’s hair which takes forever
and a half.) But at lunch it started to feel more like an Allegro day. We ate
fairly quickly then went straight into a rehearsal at the hotel (mad props (or ‘rock on’ for the parents) to the cello player
who was amazing!) We then walked to the Meyerson Symphony Hall for a quick rehearsal - Meyerson was
absolutely beautiful! For those of you who couldn’t be there, imagine walking
into an over-sized brown ballroom. We
had great weather today and walked back to the hotel to change. We were the second group to sing out of four. The concert was…. hard to put into words. It was probably
the most beautifully I have ever heard an Allegro choir sing (and I have been in Allegro for almost 6 years.) After the concert the compliments seemed to come from
everywhere. I even had one woman tell me our choir is why people teach music.
One man said it was the highlight of his day. I’m just so proud of my Allegro
family and our directors. –catie tucker

Thanks for sharing your amazing day! Hopefully it will be a memory that the girls will carry with them forever. For those girls who are experiencing their first Allegro tour - what a way to start! For those who are on their last Allegro tour - what a way to finish!
